THE CHEFS

Tanaka San served as a professor for many years at one of Japan’s most renowned culinary schools and later hosted his own program on Hokkaido TV.

 

With his comedian-like personality and exceptional culinary artistry, he continues to captivate many guests.

Tanaka San

Sachi San acquired knowledge of mushrooms and wild mountain vegetables, along with their preparation methods, whilst walking through fields and hills with her mother during her childhood.

 

She also loves surfing and snowboarding, visiting seas and mountains across Japan and incorporating the local food culture into her daily life.

 

At her private chef dinners, one can savour a variety of rich Japanese home cooking.

A truly great chef with nearly 60 years of experience as a sushi master, Kamada San ran his own sushi restaurant in Kutchan for many years.

After retiring, he began a new chapter with Niseko Gourmet, where he has been creating sushi for the past 14 years.

Countless patrons fall in love with his sushi and return time and again.
